Dr. Terry Buckman is a federal civil servant leading a team that designs, plans, and analyzes wargames for United States Strategic Command. He enlisted in the US Navy, at the age of 17 and, over his thirty-year career, rose through the ranks and retired from active service as a Commander. While in the Navy, he served several ships and shore commands and supported many military operations, including the Desert Storm War and the Global War on Terrorism. Terry holds an undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Colorado, graduate degrees in Education and Engineering Management from Old Dominion University, and a Doctorate of Education in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Creighton University. Additionally, Terry is a certified Leadership Coach. Some of his other hobbies include writing, playing guitar, and home renovation. Terry resides with his wife, Audrey, and their five children in Omaha, Nebraska.
