Sarah Gallimore
Director of Design and Innovation, The Ohio State University

Hopeful Futurist. Committed Learner. Translator of insight, foresight and ideas. Sarah Gallimore works for people, not for design/tech/brands/etc – for the person on the other side of what we create. She thrives at the intersection of strategic foresight, design thinking and business strategy – helping people more deeply understand those they serve, how to figure out what to make or do next, why it’s important and how to communicate that.

Most often, this has involved leading the design and delivery of interdisciplinary projects, developing silo-breaking relationships, designing and facilitating high level stakeholder engagements and strategic leadership for prototyping desirable, real-world solutions.

With over a decade of cross-sector experience – Sarah has spent the past several years focused on bringing innovative ideas to life alongside civic and local government leaders.

Sarah is also the mother to a vivacious 4 year old daughter. Along with her husband and dog, Sarah’s family calls Detroit, MI home and they enjoy fixing up their old house, exploring new restaurants and gallivanting through parks together (both in their own city and on their travels abroad).
