Noam began his UX journey in the mid-2000s, working on the user experience of missile defense systems. He has since worked across multiple spaces, including travel (Airbnb), AI customer support (Intercom), Fintech (Wealthfront), and Social (X & Meta.) These days, he’s a Senior Research Manager at Upwork.

Noam is also the founder of “The Disruptive Coach,” where he works as a career and leadership coach, a content creator, and a community builder for people in tech. Noam teaches about UX Research and other topics on Maven, and has given talks at institutions like Stanford, Harvard, and UDub, in addition to industry conferences like UXRConf and Quant UX Con.

Noam holds a Ph.D. in Psychology with a focus on personality psychology and quantitative research from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
