Nicole Bergstrom is a prominent accessibility professional, disability advocate and accessible travel champion. She is driving positive change in the hospitality industry, transforming inclusive travel experiences for people with disabilities, their family, friends, and caregivers by underscoring the immense business value of this diverse market segment. Through her expertise, Nicole is making the world a more accessible and welcoming place for all. She has built, matured, and positioned Hilton’s Accessibility Center of Excellence as a strategic business unit fueling continued growth and evolving Hilton as both an employer and hospitality brand of choice for people with disabilities. As Lead of Hilton’s internal employee resource group, Abilities, she champions cultural change and elevates awareness on the intersectionality of digital accessibility, diversity, and inclusion across the spectrum of apparent and non-apparent disabilities.

Prior to joining Hilton, Nicole consulted with numerous organizations including DocuSign, National Student Clearinghouse, the National Institutes of Health’s Clinical Center, Veterans Affairs, and Department of Labor to advance accessibility strategies and inclusivity for people with disabilities. She is a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies, holds a Bachelor’s in Spanish and Sociology and Anthropology from Colgate University, a Masters in Telecommunications from George Mason, and a certificate in Assistive Technology Applications from the University of California, Northridge.
