Melissa Eggleston
User Experience Researcher and Designer

Melissa Eggleston is an experienced UX researcher and designer dedicated to improving digital interactions by crafting user-centered, trauma-informed, and inclusive experiences. With expertise in research, content strategy, and design, she has collaborated with organizations of all sizes, including Lenovo, Duke University, and The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. For the last five years, she has focused on health-related initiatives related to public health and healthcare.

Melissa has designed websites and apps for people who have experienced interpersonal violence, substance use disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and serious mental illness. She has spoken at dozens of industry conferences since 2012 and has taught UX design to graduate students at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill since 2019.
