Justin Entzminger
Innovation Practice Director, Bloomberg Center for Public Innovation at Johns Hopkins University

Justin Entzminger serves as the Innovation Practice Director for the Bloomberg Center for Public Innovation (BCPI) at Johns Hopkins University. This practice includes the long-standing “i-teams” program launched by Bloomberg Philanthropies, and multiple innovation training programs with various global partners.

He joins the Bloomberg Center for Public Innovation after serving as the Executive Director for Innovate Memphis for six years. Before becoming Executive Director, he worked with Innovate Memphis to launch an Office of Performance Management within City government. Under Justin’s leadership, Innovate Memphis became the National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership partner for the region. The organization was also on the Memphis leadership team for the national Reimagining the Civic Commons effort and the Kresge Foundation’s Shared Prosperity Partnership. Justin also led the organization of “SoCo” – a cohort of Southern cities working in local government performance and innovation. It serves as a learning and collaboration network for a dozen municipalities.

Before joining Innovate Memphis, Justin worked as a design and strategy consultant. He received an MBA with concentration in Entrepreneurship from Belmont University and a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University.
