Devika Menon is a service design strategist at the City of Philadelphia’s Service Design Studio. Her journey at the City began with the PHL Participatory Design Lab initiative where she served as Service Design Fellow for the City’s first large-scale service design project.

Prior to the City, Devika was a visual communication and animation designer in Mumbai, India, where she worked with local and international corporate brands, startups, nonprofits, digital media agencies, and television channels. Moving to the United States and navigating its culture, norms, institutions, and systems as an immigrant, grounds her experience in her current role, which is focused on making government work better for and with the people it serves.
