Sarah Doody is a user experience designer, researcher, and educator. She started her career in NYC at large corporations and startups of all sizes before launching her own product design consultancy business in 2012. Since then, she’s worked with clients including Blue Apron, CitiBike, Domino Magazine, Dow Jones, WeWork, and more.
With years of experience under her belt, Sarah shifted her talents toward educating other professionals looking to break into or scale their careers in the UX field. In 2011, Sarah created the original curriculum for and taught the first General Assembly’s 12-week UX immersive program in New York City, a program that is now available in more than 27 cities worldwide and online.
In 2021, Sarah founded Career Strategy Lab™, a career incubator that helps UX and product professionals at all career stages navigate their job search and articulate their skills and experience. Thus far, people in the program have landed jobs at companies around the world, including Blue Origin, Capital One, Home Depot, IBM, Salesforce, Wells Fargo, and more.
She’s also given talks and workshops at conferences and events around the world including Berlin, New York City, Lisbon, London, Sydney, Zurich, and more.
After living in Manhattan for 13 years, Sarah traded the concrete jungle for the mountains of Utah where she’s pursuing her passion for downhill skiing.
