About Kate

Kate is an entrepreneur+designer and Principal at Intelleto, where she helps bring companies and customers together through collaborative visual methods, lean strategies and user-centered design. Kate is an adjunct professor at California College of the Arts, and pioneered the UX learning track at Tradecraft, an immersive learning program for product designers. She Co-founded the online education company Luxr.co, and was Senior Practitioner at the UX consultancy Adaptive Path. She co-hosts the NSFW podcast What Is Wrong With UX with Laura Klein, tweets at @katerutter and blogs at intelleto.com. Kate speaks internationally on topics of UX and design entrepreneurship, rapid innovation and visual communication techniques.
