How will I access the virtual conference?

We will email you the virtual conference login credentials and instructions on September 27 from our account conferences@rosenfeldmedia.com.  You will get your own personal password protected web page with the livestream and later, all conference materials.  You will continue to have unlimited access for one month after the conference ends, with the option to purchase extended access.

Will the conference be recorded?

Yes, the recordings of the main conference program will be made available exclusively to paid conference attendees for one month via a password protected area of our website. You’ll also receive exclusive access to sketchnotes, session notes, decks, and other conference-related materials.

Will I be able to share the livestream with others?

No, each registration is good for one attendee. You will receive your unique login information in the days leading up to the conference.

Additional tickets can be purchased if a team member wishes to have all the benefits of a ticket holder, including being able to participate in live Q&A and discussion, view session recordings, and access session notes, sketchnotes and decks for one month after the conference, with an option to purchase extended access.

Do I need any special technology to access the virtual conference?

You’ll be able to access the conference livestream by logging onto our site. You will also be able to participate in discussions and live Q&A with the speakers. Other networking and sponsor-led activities will be available via Zoom. You will need a free Zoom account in order to participate in the sessions.

Will I be able to ask speakers questions?

Yes; we’ll do our best to make sure your questions are addressed by speakers—either live during the conference, or afterward in writing.

What other content will be provided?

As a registered attendee, you’ll receive exclusive access to edited session recordings, as well as session notes, sketchnotes, and decks.  These will be posted from 24 hours to two weeks after the close of the conference on your personal password protected web page.

What should I do if I need closed-captioning?

We will have automatically generated captions available on the livestream.

Are there other activities, like mixers, planned?

You’ll have many opportunities to participate in breakout sessions and other virtual activities such as book clubs, small group sessions, product demonstrations, and fun activities such as happy hour, trivia and other activities carefully designed, curated and facilitated to maximize your virtual user experience.

Who is putting on this event and how was it programmed?

Kristin Skinner leads our curation team, with support from Alana Washington, Bud Caddell, and Lou Rosenfeld. As with all Rosenfeld Media conferences, we rely heavily on user research to develop our programs and determine our speakers. We also work with speakers iteratively for months to transform their ideas into polished presentations.

The Rosenfeld Media team produces the DesignOps Summit, making sure our attendees, speakers, and sponsors enjoy a great conference experience. This is the fifth edition of the conference that we’ve produced.

How do I learn more and keep up with other DesignOps people?

Conference attendees are automatically added to our curated DesignOps Community, which gives you access to free monthly video conferences and recordings, first dibs on discounted tickets to the next DesignOps conference, and a semi-monthly newsletter with industry news, articles, and other relevant content.
