Have you been thinking a lot about the relationship of design and product (or lack thereof)? Well, it's time to put thoughts into words! And maybe win a free ticket to Design in Product 2023.
How? Send us a short video (two minutes maximum) where you address one of the three themes we'll be covering at Design in Product 2023. Choose one:
- Theme 1—Aligning and partnering
- Theme 2—Setting and defending priorities
- Theme 3—Influencing and politicking
If you like, use one of these questions as a prompt:
- What’s one thing you wish you’d known about [the theme you selected above] when you started out in [design|product]?
- As a [designer/product person], what’s the one thing you wish your counterparts in [product|design] knew about [the theme you selected above]?
- Or try something else! Just as long as you express a strong point of view.
Submit your video by EOD Monday, October 9. The DiP23 curation team will select 6-8 videos and play them during the conference. Winners will receive a complimentary ticket to the conference, be listed on the conference speaker roster, and enjoy enduring fame.
Some notes:
- Submit as many entries as you like.
- Two minutes max: we're serious! If your video runs longer, it'll be disqualified.
- We may ask you to rerecord it if the video or audio are poor.
- No need to use time introducing yourself; we'll make sure viewers know who you are.
