Single feed for combined author postings

You may have noticed on more recent tweak to the Rosenfeld Media main page: we now feature recent author postings from our book sites alongside general announcements (like this one). Want to keep up with our authors’ postings via RSS? Piece of cake.

New book signing: “Remote Research” by Bolt and Tulathimutte

We’ve been working on getting Nate Bolt and Tony Tulathimutte to write a book on remote user research for a couple years now. Through their work at Bolt | Peters, purveyors of Ethnio, a remote research service, they’ve become experts at leveraging new technologies to study users in their native habitats.

During the first part of the year, we’ll hold them at interaction’09, SXSW, the IA Summit, and the UPA annual conference, as well as at various New York City-area design firms. Subscribe to the Rosenfeld Media feed or mailing list, or follow louisrosenfeld on Twitter to keep in the loop. More on the salon tour at Lou’s blog.

A peek at three new book covers

Though it’s not quite as exciting as, say, today’s elections here in the US, we’re thrilled to show off the covers of our next three books.

We’ve really enjoyed partnering with The Heads of State on cover design, and are looking forward to the family continuing to grow.

We can automatically notify you when each is available for sale (and, as a thanks for your early interest, we’ll send you a nice discount). Take 20 seconds and sign up for notifications here (at the bottom of the page).

Do you like it?

The Rosenfeld Media main page has a new look that emphasizes both our books (something we didn’t have when we originally launched the site, of course) and their authors. Kudos to our designer Dave Shea, who continues to make sure that we look good and work well.

Upcoming author appearances (and some discounts)

Rosenfeld Media’s authors are insane; they take breathers from pounding out their prose to speak all over the planet. The remainder of our 2008 events calendar includes appearances in Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, India, Italy, Turkey, and all across the USA. It also includes discounts for Luke Wroblewski’s talk at UIE 13 and Indi Young’s talk for Key Forums and at Design Research 2008.
