Stefanie is Principal Designer and Design Manager at Nava PBC, where she applies human-centered design to all layers of government services in order to make them more resilient and effective. She finds energy in muddling through ambiguity to create clarity, and especially enjoys leveraging her skills in service design, qualitative data visualization, and facilitation. Stefanie previously built the user experience research practice at O’Reilly Media, as well as designed software for enterprise hardware at IBM. Stefanie is a Carnegie Mellon and University of Tulsa alumni and currently resides in Michigan. When not practicing design, Stefanie enjoys anything that doesn’t involve a screen: hiking, riding her bike, making pottery, and learning how to garden.
