Phil Hesketh
Founder, Consent Kit

Phil worked in UX Design for over 10 years before completing a masters in Service Design where he became interested in the ethics of design in 2017. As part of his research across the public and private sector in the UK, he noticed that informed consent in particular was challenging for organisations to scale consistently.

With the arrival of the GDPR in 2018, Phil began working on how to operationalise informed consent in design research and improve the experience for both participants and researchers, which led to him founding Consent Kit with his Co-founder Ben. Since then they have worked with organisations all over the world, raising the bar for data protection compliance and accessibility within design research teams.
