Tejiri is a product designer using research and user experience design to build products at scale. She transitioned into design after taking up a graphic design role at a non-profit organization. Her overarching goal has been to gain depth in interactive technology and explore how interactive components can enhance relationships with people, products, and services in an increasingly digital future.
She participated in the 2020 Global Hackathon as a member of team FACO to fight the global crisis at that time and create an innovative tool designed to provide instant clinical quality diagnostic tests and management tools directly to consumers and healthcare providers. The project won first place in the COVIDathon Hackathon and the best women-led team for the Planet Wide SOS Hackathon. Her curiosity and practical empathy foster open and respectful collaborations among team members.
She currently leads the design and delivery of software solutions at Kimoyo Insights – A market research tool automating user research across Africa.
