Nikki Brand
Designer/ Researcher, Nava Public Benefit Corporation

Nikki Brand is a Design Manager and Designer/Researcher at Nava, a public benefit corporation working to make government services simple, effective, and accessible to all. Nikki has designed, implemented, and learned from digital tools and services in the United States as well as in more than 12 countries in Latin America, Africa, and Asia, working with government agencies, social enterprises, and non-profit organizations. Prior to Nava, she was a Senior Human Centered Designer at Viamo, an international social enterprise that supports access to information around the world through voice-based platform, and Director of Digital Products for Nuup, a non-profit social enterprise in Mexico that designs and implements digital tools for smallholder farmers. Nikki has also worked with USAID, IDEO.org, the Digital Impact Alliance, and Proximity Designs. Nikki holds a Masters in International Policy from Stanford and a Bachelors in Peace and Conflict Studies from UC Berkeley, and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
