Lisa Spitz
Senior Designer/ Researcher, Nava Public Benefit Corporation

Lisa Spitz is a Design Manager and Program Lead at Nava, a public benefit corporation working to make government services simple, effective, and accessible to all. She values transparency and trust and works closely with government stakeholders to understand their needs and provide the right level of coaching and support, while ensuring people-centered design and research processes. Prior to Nava, Lisa was an Assistant Professor of Design at Lesley University where she launched an online Bachelor of Science program in Design for User Experience and published a book “Student-Led Peer Review: A Practical Guide to Implementation Across Disciplines and Modalities”. She holds a Masters in Interaction Design from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelors in Psychology and Graphic Arts from Regis College, and is based in the Boston area.
