Attendee Cohorts: Attending Together Means Learning Together

We’re excited to let you know about something new we’re trying at this year’s conference. Something we feel will be a “Zoom fatigue-buster”: attendee cohorts.

We’re convinced that when you attend together, you learn together. So we’re assembling cohorts of 8-12 people that are bound by a common interest or learning goal for the conference. That way you can attend with colleagues with whom you share something in common: you may all be UX writers, or junior managers, or work in healthcare, or identify as Latinx… As long as there are enough of you who want to learn together, we’ll make your cohort happen.

Each cohort will work with its own facilitator, be introduced and set common goals at the start of the conference, revisit those goals at the end (via Zoom), and attend together in a private Slack channel in between. You’ll learn from each other as well as from our fantastic speakers. And you’ll walk away with great new contacts and friendships—maybe even more than what you might get from an in-person conference.
