Nora Tejeda
Design Discipline Manager, BBVA Mexico

She’s an engineer, service designer and strategist. Nora spends her time and energy striving to fulfill the promise of technology-based products and services of having a positive impact on people’s lives. She is a Design Discipline Manger at BBVA, the largest bank in Mexico, where she works with a team of designers to enable the definition of the strategic initiatives of the organization through a collaborative, user-centered design process. Nora is also a co-founder of Service Design Mexico, an initiative aimed at developing the practice of Service Design in Mexico and Latin America through professional training. Nora has worked with organizations in the financial, telecommunications and edtech sectors in Mexico, Brazil, the United Kingdom and Sweden, where she co-founded Inicio, a social startup promoting technology-enabled learning. She holds a Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction and Design from the European Institute of Technology (EIT) together with the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and University College London (UCL). Nora loves the sea, the mountains and trying new food.
