Sam is a design leader who has always had a soft spot for DesignOps. Great people management is enabled by well-designed operations. He is currently a Director of Design Systems at USAA focused on the development, delivery, and adoption of their enterprise-wide design system. Previously he has delivered design systems at Cisco, and has spent the majority of his career designing for complex IT and administrator experiences. Sam lives in San Antonio TX with his spouse and 3 rambunctious boys.
