Kevin Newton started out as a social scientist studying the effectiveness of psychotherapy and the impact of community-based events (block parties, painting a mural together, etc.) on how strongly a group of people felt like a community. He now spends his professional life doing three things: ensuring his team is well-supported, creating processes that enable researchers to scale themselves, and advocating for members/customers through surfacing insights.
In his “non-professional” life he enjoys being a father to his two girls and a partner to his wife, Brandi. They enjoy visiting national parks, hiking, rock climbing, and any adventure that can be conquered on a day trip or long weekend. Kevin is also an amateur survivalist and search and rescue volunteer.
