Dave Malouf is currently the Sr Director of Strategy & Operations—Design at Northwestern Mutual where he is the Chief of Staff to the Head of Design and runs the Design Operations practice. Previously, Dave was a consultant helping organizations set up DesignOps practices around the world for organizations like the World Bank, Here, Inc., Visa, JP Morgan, and BCG Japan.

Dave is a global speaker and writer on the topic DesignOps. Previous, to his DesignOps career, Dave was a community leader in the Interaction Design community and one of the primary founders of IxDA. He’s worked as an Interaction Designer, Researcher, Strategist for organizations such as, HPE, Rackspace, Motorola, Documentum. He was also a Professor of Interaction Design at Savannah College of Art and Design, and an Instructor at General Assembly.
