Frequently Asked Questions

General Information

Who is putting on this event and how was it programmed?

The Rosenfeld Media team produces the Shift UX Conference, making sure our attendees, speakers, and sponsors enjoy a great conference experience.

Will I be able to ask speakers questions?

Yes; we will have live Q&A sessions after every session, accessible to both in-person and live online attendees.

What other content will be provided?

As a registered attendee, you’ll receive exclusive access to edited session recordings, as well as session notes, and decks, for 90 days (until December 24, 2026). These will be posted from 24 hours to one week after the close of the conference via the Rosenverse; we’ll let you know as soon as they’re made available. During that period, you’ll also have access to the extensive collection of great content made available via your Rosenverse Gold subscription, including hundreds of hours of our past conferences’ recordings and a streamable library of our books.

Are there other activities, like mixers, planned?

You won’t run out of things to do—we promise! If you’re attending in-person, we’ll make sure you you have ample opportunities to network and socialize—both at the conference and around New York City. If you attend virtually, we’re sure you’ll enjoy our online networking activies, including the Cozy Juicy Real trivia game.

Will a Code of Conduct be in force?

Yes; you can find it here.

What are your Terms of Service and Refund Policy?

You can find both here.

About our In-Person Experience

I bought an in-person ticket but now I can’t attend. What are my options?

We hope you’ll consider attending virtually. Please refer to our refund policy for details on converting your ticket or getting a refund.

Should I purchase travel insurance?

We highly recommend that you purchase “cancel for any reason” travel insurance; it will provide you with the maximum of flexibility and protection.  Check with your insurance broker or try InsureMyTrip.

Are you offering discounted hotel rooms?

While we’re not offering a room block, we are making arrangements with local hotels to provide discounts to our attendees; we’ll update this page as hotels become available.

Will you offer accommodations for people with disabilities?

Closed captioning will be available at the live event and will be projected onstage. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible. If you need any additional accommodations, please contact customer service.

Will you have options for people with dietary restrictions?

Our menu offers gluten free and vegan options. If you have any other special diet requests such as Kosher, please contact customer service at least one week prior to the event.
