Madison Karas leads product and research initiatives for journalism organizations. She became interested in how information shapes everyday lives through work in auto repair, home healthcare, conductive education, and local retail — roles that showed her how timely service transforms realities. Her work has spanned developing metrics frameworks for early-stage newsrooms to conducting ethnographic study of urban baristas. Madison studied journalism and economics at Temple University and works with Tiny News Collective, 2PuntosPlatform, and Gazzetta. https://madraekaras.com/
