Originally from Indonesia, Yoel Sumitro left for Seattle to get a degree in UX from the University of Washington. From there, he has been globetrotting: first, he worked as a UX Designer in Apptio in Seattle, followed by Mobilewalla in Singapore and then he worked at Adidas Group in Germany. He also worked as a Senior UX researcher at Uber in the US before he finally  decided to go back to Indonesia in 2018 and lead Bukalapak and then tiket.com design teams. In the last 4 years, he has been experimenting on helping researchers grow in their careers and skills.
