Zen Ren has performed research for 6 years across various disciplines, including education, tech automation, and handicraft. They are passionate about making technology more accessible, whether it’s through UX insights or empathetic content design. Their more recent work includes research to create inclusive language guidelines for newsrooms, and how developers use communications APIs.

Zen is currently located in Austin, Texas. They embroider, knit, and sew, documenting projects on Instagram at @zenbyhand. They are also learning how to skateboard and how to be a better houseplant parent.
