Meet Ned Dwyer, Co-founder and CEO of Great Question
January 27, 2022We are lucky to have so many wonderful sponsors of this year’s Advancing Research conference–and we thought you might like to get to know them better! We’ve asked all of them some questions that get at the heart of why they’re passionate about user research and ResearchOps, what it’s like to work with them, and what makes their products and services special to research professionals.
Rosenfeld Media: Why are you sponsoring this year’s Advancing Research?
Ned Dwyer:
We are researchers ourselves, and all of our customers are researchers. We want to support anything that helps grow the influence of research in product and design communities. We believe that more seats at the table for researchers is better, and we think conferences like this can help lift the profession’s profile. A rising tide lifts all boats!
We also built a pretty sweet platform that makes researchers’ lives a lot easier, so it makes sense that we would want to learn how researchers think to make sure our product continues to anticipate their needs.
Rosenfeld Media: What excites you about research and/or research operations?
Ned Dwyer:
Customer research is one of the biggest levers that product, design & marketing teams can engage to solve customer problems.
Research is so much easier today than it was 5 years ago, there are more companies that value it and it’s easier to do with users across the globe. There are more folks transitioning from different fields into research, making it even more diverse and interesting. And, qualitative research is such a great way to really understand your customers’ experience. We’re excited about being able to support folks that want to get more qualitative customer research done with fewer tools.
Rosenfeld Media: What types of value and benefits do you/your product bring to the practice and our community?

Rosenfeld Media: What else should our community know about you?
Ned Dwyer:
We’re so grateful for the community support. We launched our first version of Great Question a year ago, and we’ve learned so much from the various research communities. It’s made our team stronger and our product better. Now we are able to say companies like Brex, Auth0, MainStreet, and Rev are all happy customers, but we would be nowhere without feedback from them and from communities like this one. We’re always learning and we want to continue to hear from you, so hit me up on twitter, let me know how you think about research.
