Call for Case Studies

Are you a UX designer, researcher, writer, or product person who is using AI to improve your practice or product? Then we’d love to learn more! We’re seeking speakers to present their case studies at Designing with AI 2026, a virtual conference taking place June 9-10, 2026.

What we’re looking for

This year’s conference is all about new AI-augmented product design processes. We’re looking for case studies—even if the work is still “in motion”—that show how AI has changed your team’s process, and how leaders are successfully managing these changes. Specifically, we’d love to hear from you if your story aligns with one of these two themes:

  1. The new AI-augmented design process: How AI is reshaping the traditional design process—introducing new steps, skills, and strategies for both leaders and individual contributors.
  2. Managing AI-augmented product design work: How to structure and support teams, update infrastructure, and pitch and justify your work in an evolving, AI-augmented design environment.

Here are some suggestions for topics:

  • AI for research (and how it’s been received and used)
  • AI prototyping (and how it’s different for your team than non-AI prototyping)
  • AI-assisted coding (and how your team is navigating developer vs. non-developer contributions)
  • Evals (and how they fit into the rest of the product design process)
  • Any other place where AI has changed your process for designing and building products, and how that has impacted the larger team, product, or org

Note: The conference will focus on generative AI, but we welcome submissions that cover other types of AI/ML as well, as long as it’s clearly specified.

What happens if your session is accepted

Here’s where this conference does things a bit differently!

If your proposal is selected, you, your fellow speakers, conference curator, and speaker coach will work collaboratively and iteratively over three months to develop and prepare your presentations. Our cohort-based approach is both unusually supportive and a serious commitment. Please don’t apply if this doesn’t sound like this process is for you.

The submission deadline is EOD Sunday, January 25, 2026; please contact [email protected] with any questions.

(If you’re a vendor with AI tools, or a startup, we offer a variety of sponsored opportunities to demonstrate your product at the conference; contact [email protected] for more information.)

Please note

  • We reserve the right to slightly modify the information you provide about your case study to address grammatical and spelling errors. We won’t make major edits that change your message without your permission.
  • After submitting your proposal, we’ll email you a copy of your submission.
  • We’ll be back in touch with you within 2-3 weeks to let you know of our decision either way.
  • Have questions? Contact [email protected]
