Her team is working to improve the service delivery of nutrition safety net programs, including WIC and SNAP, and partnering with other USDS teams and agencies to contribute to the federal strategy to modernize the United States\u2019 social safety net. Prior to USDS, Maya was a senior software engineer on Facebook\u2019s integrity and privacy teams where she led the development of internal platforms used to support privacy, civic integrity, counterterrorism, and child safety efforts. She graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in Computer Science with a focus on Human Computer Interaction.
