Deb Gelman tackles Design For Kids"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Although many of our books cover UX research and design methods, we&#8217;re always looking to tackle &#8220;verticals,&#8221; like industries (e.g., health care) and specific audiences (such as those for whom <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rosenfeldmedia.com\/books\/web-accessibility\/\">accessibility<\/a> is critical). <\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re about to embark on another vertical topic: designing for children. We&#8217;ve signed <strong>Deb Gelman<\/strong> to write <em><Design For Kids: A Framework for Digital Experiences<\/em> (due out in 2012). Deb&#8217;s background in psychology and visual media and her extensive experience designing for children make her a great person to tackle this subject (she&#8217;s a parent too!). <\/p>\n<p>As with all of our books-in-progress, we hope you&#8217;ll visit Deb&#8217;s book site and engage with her and her material.
