About Itziar

Itziar Pobes is Service Designer and the mastermind behind the projects at We Question Our Project, a service design consultancy based in Barcelona. Her hidden goal is to pull the studio’s clients into uncharted waters. But for that she needs to assure them that they won’t get lost. She’s the one who crafts the studio’s work around understandable methods and feasible actions with unexpected results.

With a long – but old – professional background in UX and interaction design, Itziar crossed to the dark side of participatory approaches and intangible value through design thinking in 2012. Itziar is currently studying an MBA in Service Innovation and Design in Finland. She teaches service prototyping, service and business design in the Master on Design Management and Innovation at BAU Design College. And she’s a visiting lecturer in other design, business and government schools both locally and as far as Ecuador. Itziar also uses some of her time to foster service design through events such as the Barcelona GovJam and conferences like the Service Design Days.
