Bilan Hashi has 11+ years of conducting participatory and collaborative research, designing equitable and inclusive interventions, and teaching and mentoring others to reach their potential & embody a growth mindset, in a range of organizations from UNDP to small tech startups. Currently, she is a Design Researcher for the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board in Ontario, Canada. With her academic background in Anthropology and Gender Studies, Bilan is passionate about creating sustainable impact through the promotion of agency, equity, and diversity in research. In her free time, she writes (non-fiction, fiction, and poetry) and dabbles in street and travel photography.
