We are lucky to have so many wonderful sponsors of this year’s Enterprise Experience conference–and we thought you might like to get to know them better! We’ve asked all of them some questions that get at the heart of why they’re passionate about enterprise design and design operations, what it’s like to work with them, and what makes their products and services special to enterprise professionals.

Rosenfeld Media: Why are you sponsoring Enterprise Experience 2020?

Vlad: At Miro we believe that, regardless of team size, we should provide the best user and customer experience possible. It’s especially important for SaaS, where the cost of switching is often not as high at the early stages of adoption, and UX could become a crucial differentiator for success. It’s beneficial for the community to have such a platform as Enterprise Experience to raise awareness about the topic and share best practices within the industry.

Rosenfeld Media: What excites you about enterprise design?

Vlad: It’s a great challenge for the design and product teams: how to deal with the complexity of the tool, avoid feature bloat, and ensure ease of use.

Rosenfeld Media: What is the professional experience like for designers and DesignOps people at your company?

Vlad: Miro as a team relies on a holistic approach to digital product design. Each designer has an opportunity to lead projects end-to-end. We start collaboratively with PMs to identify the right problem to solve, then explore potential solutions, validate them with customers, implement cross-functionally and measure success. It helps to see a bigger picture, make data-informed decisions and connect those with the company mission and vision.

Rosenfeld Media: What is your culture like, who would they work with, and who are the champions?

Vlad: We are big believers in leadership and cultural norms within the organization. Because the business grows 300%+ y-o-y, and team size almost doubles each year, we need to pay a lot more attention to the people we bring to the team. One of our values, “Drive change and be open”, clearly reflects how we approach things. It’s simply not possible to produce universal instructions for anything in a startup, that’s why mindset and personal attitudes play the biggest role here.

Rosenfeld Media: What types of value and benefits do you/your product bring to the practice and our community?

Vlad: Miro is the online collaborative whiteboard platform. We help teams collaborate as if they were in the same room regardless of where team members are located.

Rosenfeld Media: What else should our community know about you?

Vlad: We are scaling our product development organization within our Amsterdam hub right now, and hiring for senior and leadership roles. If you’d like to shape the future of work, it’s the right time to join the team and reinvent team collaboration online.
