Research Manager for Shared Rides, Uber
Jamie Jansson has years of industry experience in both a consulting and in-house capacity. Leading research in all phases of the design process, from generative ethnography to iterative usability and everything in between and managing teams through the complexity of research planning and resourcing. Currently, Jamie is the Research Manager for Shared Rides at Uber Technologies, Inc. Prior to Uber, Jamie spent time at Capital One, managing the Design Research Team supporting the Card Design business. She also has experience conducting research in-house for Motorola Mobility/Google. There, her work focused on research for hardware and software solutions. Jamie has her Masters in Design Methods from The Institute of Design in Chicago. She currently resides in Berkeley, CA., with her spouse, kids and pups.
