She\u2019s also worked as a copywriter, editor, and brand manager, and has years of experience in communications as well. She\u2019s built and led teams of writers, editors, and program managers at tech startups, nonprofits, and Fortune 500s; former companies include Amazon, Boeing, PayPal, Adobe, Walmart.com and Western Union.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, Rachel returned to her roots and joined MURAL as the company\u2019s first UX writer. As the product design team started to grow, she approached the VP and shared her operations experience, gained from serving as COO of an English language institute in Ecuador and earlier as director of communications and operations at a national nonprofit, and began to explore the field of design operations.
