Katie started her career in architecture. As a licensed architect, she learned to organize teams and processes to bring her designs to life. After over a decade, Katie shifted her focus to digital and moved into the role of UX producer at USAA, eventually producing their design operations team.<\/p>\n
Katie now serves as the manager of H-E-B\u2019s newly-formed design operations team. She leads a group of specialists who create and maintain the processes, technology, career growth, and design culture for a 60-person (and growing!) design organization. She\u2019s passionate about organizing the behind-the-scenes efforts necessary to ensure design teams have what they need to focus exclusively on creating beautiful, user-centered products.<\/p>\n
