But now, the need to meet remotely has added technology challenges, distractions, and communication style compromises into meetings that were already challenging; not to mention a lot more of them seem to be happening. This workshop will help you design effective remote agendas and facilitate using feedback loops that maximize everyone\u2019s time and focus your conversations on outcomes. You\u2019ll take these skills back to your department\/team, improving your work culture. The workshop will pull extensively from Kevin&#8217;s book Meeting Design and his years of experience helping agencies and companies in workshops around the world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>What you will learn:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Attendees of this workshop will leave being able to\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Plan better meetings ahead of time that have a clear rationale for who should attend and why a meeting is taking place (and in some cases, why a meeting shouldn\u2019t take place)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Clearly tie meetings to project, product, and portfolio outcomes that help keep stakeholders focused on the correct \u201clevel of zoom\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Share foundational approaches with their teams for remote agendas and that make any meeting more effective<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Share remote-only facilitation superpowers with their colleagues, including advanced methods of visually structuring conversations<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Scale larger distributed meetings more effectively by using break out groups, patterns, and feedback loops<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Who should attend:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This will help anyone who is responsible for attending, planning, facilitating, or desiring to get outcomes from the meetings they have with their customers, stakeholders, clients, or anyone with whom they work. It applies equally to designers, product managers, project managers, engineers. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pre-requisites:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please come with an open mind, a positive attitude, and a good sense of the problems you are having with your meetings with examples that are anonymized to protect the innocent.
