Amber Davis is a UX Research Director at Audible where her team bridges business goals with design research to inform innovative experiences. Before she joined Audible, Amber worked at McKinsey leading user research and helping scale research operations in support of their digital transformation. As a UX research leader, Amber believes in the value of experimenting with participatory UX research methods as part of her process to gain buy-in from stakeholders. Amber earned her bachelor’s degree from Stanford and her master’s from Johns Hopkins. After finishing graduate school, she spent several years in public policy managing research projects in sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America before transitioning into tech.
