Getting to Toronto
You'll fly into Pearson International Airport or Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. You may also take the train to Toronto, arriving at Toronto's Union Station. For information on travelling from the airport or train, consult the Toronto Transit Commission website.
Getting to The Gladstone Hotel
By TTC from Pearson (Terminal 1 & 3): Take Bus 192 Towards Pearson Airport, transfer at Bloor/Danforth subway station board subway to Dufferin Street exit, take bus 29 exiting at Queen Street, walk 1 block east along Queen Street to Gladstone.
By TTC from Billy Bishop Airport: Walk along Bathurst Street from Ferry Terminal to Fleet Street. Take the 511 Bathurst Streetcar north to Queen Street, Transfer to 501 Westbound streetcar and travel along Queen to Gladstone.
By TTC from Union Station: Go to the Northbound Platform (Downsview), exit St. Andrew Station and take 504 King street car towards Dundas West Station. Exit at King Street. Walk west along King Street, turn right at Dufferin and right on Queen Street West, Walk East to Gladstone.
By Car: There is ample metered parking on Queen Street and free parking on nearby side streets.
Getting Around Toronto
The Toronto Transit Commission provides subway maps, bus route maps and schedules. Taxis are generally easy to flag down.
Bixi Bikes are also available for rent. Check the Bixi website for locations and availability.
Hotels and Places to Stay
Continental breakfast will be provided from 8:30-9am. Snacks for the two coffee breaks are included. There are many restaurant choices for lunch nearby; a list of local restaurants and addresses will be provided at the workshop.
